        Dr. Daniel G. Straka graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame and was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society. He then received his medical degree from the University of Toledo, College of Medicine, where he graduated top 5 in his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his Internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Straka then moved to Nashville, Tennessee to complete his ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt Eye Institute. After residency, he completed a very competitive 2-year ASOPRS sponsored fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery directed by Drs. Kenneth Cahill, Jill Foster, and Cameron Nabavi. Dr. Straka has extensive training in the areas of cosmetic facial surgery including upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), endoscopic brow/forehead lift, facelift, and laser resurfacing techniques to reduce facial wrinkles. As a complement to his surgical interventions, he performs many non-invasive procedures including neurotoxin injections (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport), dermal and facial fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Sculptra, Belotero), hair restoration with platelet rich plasma, microneedling, and Kybella, the only FDA approved injectable to help reduce neck fullness. In addition, he specializes in the medical and surgical management of many conditions affecting the eyelids, eye socket (orbit), and tear ducts in both adults and children. These include droopy eyelids (ptosis), upper and lower eyelid malposition (ectropion, entropion, retraction), eyelid or periocular skin cancers, orbital tumors and fractures, blocked tear ducts, congenital eyelid malformations, and thyroid eye disease. Dr. Straka is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), and the Ohio Ophthalmological Society.

        Dr. Straka did a tremendous job with my surgery. I had droopy eyelid repair and brow lift surgery and I am amazed at how much more I see and how great I look.         Laser resurfacing and BBL has given me new skin!

        First let me just say how great Dr. Straka and his staff are. So friendly, helpful and considerate during my visits. I saw Dr. Straka for a number of issues, mainly heavy eyelids, wrinkles, and skin care issues. We discussed many things and started first with laser resurfacing for wrinkles and brown spots. After all the healing was done I have noticed a significant improvement in the wrinkles and discoloration of my face, especially around my eyes and mouth. I am so happy!

        Hair PRP injections

        I was very happy with my experience and treatments with Dr. Straka for my thinning hair. He did a series of PRP injections and I have noticed thicker hair and it has not been falling out anymore when I comb it. Great office and staff, and Dr. Straka is very friendly. I highly recommend!

        Dr. Straka did filler injection to my cheeks, under eyes, and lips and the results are fabulous! Thank you also to his wonderful staff who made me feel right at home.         I was so worried when I found out I had skin cancer very close to my eye. Dr. Straka made me feel at ease with surgery to remove and rebuild the area. People can barely tell I ever had surgery and my skin cancer is gone. I'm so thankful for his tremendous talent and kindness.

        My skin is so much better after BBL Laser!

        I've been bothered by uneven skin for many years (I'm in my 40s) and I heard from a few friends who had seen Dr. Straka with great results. I had BBL laser to my skin and it has significantly improved the brown spots and uneven appearance. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner!
