- Dr. Moheban (or Dr. Dan) received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University in 1996. After college, Dr. Moheban spent three years conducting research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He then went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2003. During that time, Dr. Moheban also worked at Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals studying dental sealants. Dr. Moheban completed his post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and Mott Children's Health Center/Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI in 2005.Since then, Dr. Moheban has been practicing pediatric dentistry in the state of Massachusetts. Dr. Moheban has also taken numerous continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry. He has studied extensively in the areas of oral bacterial management and caries (cavity) prevention, early treatment of orthodontic problems, and treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD) in children, adolescents and young adults.Dr. Moheban is board certified and is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Mohegan is great! I did not see or talk to him this time as the hygienist Heather came into waiting room to talk to me. Heather is beyond amazing as is Angela! Those are the only 2 that I know of that have worked on my children. But all staff are very friendly!

All of the hygienists we have dealt with are super informative and empathetic to my daughter and her nerves about being at the dentist. And the doctor we always have is beyond words. The way she comforts the children before doing any type of procedure and continues to keep their mind occupied and nerves at ease is like nothing ive ever experienced. MY daughter and myself could not imagine going anywhere else and i can guarantee you'll feel the same way after one visit here with your little one! :)
