Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Grill

Amazing Cuban sandwich, and the rice and beans is highly recommended. Save room for some maduros for dessert.

Coming from Miami this is by far the best Cuban food you will find in Atlanta. On my list of must try items includes the beef and chicken empanadas and the fried fish sandwich with yellow rice and black beans!

One of my favorite authentic Cuban restaurants in town. The best Cuban sandwiches but I enjoy everything they have to offer and usually order take out.

I will give it 3 stars for atmosphere and decor but not even 1 for the food. When you open a Cuban restaurant you should at least have a Cuban cook; Mexican ones could never attain the authentic Cuban "sazon".

I'm so sad I didn't discover Papi's cuban sandwiches earlier. I've lived in the neighborhood forever but somehow never made it over there until this year. I was missing so much! Not only is the atmosphere fun and welcoming, but the food is really really good and affordable. I don't know how "authentic" the food is to real cuban, but whatever they put on those sandwiches is magic. (I have a feeling it involves a lot of garlic.) Their combination plates offer tons of food, enough to split between 2 people. But don't do that-- you'll want leftovers to take home with you. Highly recommended.

A great place to get a quick bite or if you want a nice sit down leisurely dinner, and Cuban sandwiches are top notch!
