Salt Grass Steakhouse

The service was poor and inconsiderate of the customer. It took the waiter 20 minutes just to acknowledge us and over an hour and a half to get our food. I ordered a Ceasar's salad and it was drowned in dressing and salty. The baked potato was cold overly stuffed with sour cream.



The steak, I ordered a 20 oz. Cattleman's Prime Rib medium well was cold and tasted "gamey". It tasted like it had been sitting too long on the shelf. The manager asked me what was the temperature of the steak (Seriously?) A few minutes later brought me a smaller portion and medium rare. He gave me the excuse that he could not heat up the other steak. I took a few bites out of the steak and left it. I got disgusted with the service and the quality of the food. I paid over 130 dollars expecting a good steak and service but instead, I got a big disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You are better off having a good steak at the Texas Road House or Chili's for half the price.

Horrible food. The service was painfully slow. We had to wait about 15 minutes between the time we ordered our drinks and the time we actually got them! When we FINALLY got our meal, the waitress asks us how our salad was?? I said, ' Uh, we never got it! '.
The meal, to make matters worse, was warm, at best!, and the chicken was about as juicy as a piece of sandpaper! The manager finally came our table and offered to correct things.
Well, he did, by basically putting our plates in a microwave oven!!!
.......Just a bad experience.... Don't go!!!

The 1st time we went, business was extraordinary! Can't wait to go again soon. ??

Our first and last time, we arrived at 9pm got seated at 10:06. My son got his burger at 10:45 and I got my salad (plain house salad) at 10:50. Too loud...people should try to remember to keep the volume down...there's women cackling men yelling...are they at a ranch? No. It's called manners...something they were taught. I could hear my son so we texted each other. But we got our bill at 10:55...now that was fast service. Horrible service...never going there again. Plus it was over price...$11 for a salad...really? I placed one star only because I had to or this review wouldn't get posted.
