Plaza Azteca

I used to enjoy eating at this restaurant in the past but i recently went to have lunch with a friend and it was a horrible experience. First, when we received our food our order wasn't correct. Then later after i was half way through eating my taco salad i discovered i had a hair elastic in bedded in my food. EWWWWW

Our waitress was very apologetic and said she would inform her manager. She came back and said she discussed the matter with her manager and they were going to waive the price of my meal and that if i would like, i could choose another meal or dessert free of charge. I was reluctant to order anything else but said i would need minute to decide. In the mean time, the manager came over to apologize and also reiterated what the waitress had told us about choosing something new from the menu. When our waitress came back, i told her i would take a dessert to go. The waitress leaves comes back a min later to tell us that the manager changed his mind!! That he still was going to waive the charge of my meal but that they would have to charge me for the dessert!! Needless to say i forewent ordering the dessert. If the experience thus far wasn't bad enough, we get our bill and discover they had charged us a higher amount then they should have on our remaining balance. We spoke to the manager again and he was extremely rude and defensive. Blaming the waitress for the all the mistakes and he went so far as to lie to our face and denied that he had offered a free dessert when he in fact did!! I will never eat at this place again. The food was gross and the manager was horrible.

We have dined here several times. It has consistently been excellent. The food, waitstaff, atmosphere, and prices are phenomenal. I dine out often and am very critical. I have not found one thing to complain about here.

I absolutely love the tortilla chips & salsas they serve. It comes with 2 salsas and mixing them together is very very delicious. The taquitos were outstanding and my hungry hungry hippo dining companion ate all of a massive burrito dish and said it was delish. I don't doubt it. The only reason I went with 4 instead of 5 stars is that we had a bit of a wait to get seated which took about 10 minutes and we thought we were going to be seated right away. Miscommunication, I guess.

Good Margaritas, and awesome food. It is almost over the top Mexican-themed inside, but I dig it. Plaza Azteca is a first for Worcester - a good, traditional Mexican restaurant.

This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Worcester. Just don't fill up on the chips and salsa (they're very good!) while you're waiting for your meal. Excellent Margaritas, too.
