StarWest Computers

I bought a home computer for StarWest (Woods Cross) just over a year. I knew I was overpaying but thought I would support a local business and believed the cost was worth the customer service they advertise and seem so proud of. I called them a week ago to see if they could help me with a problem I was have with the computer that I'd bought (more of a network problem rather than the PC) and see if they could fix a laptop that I'd bought somewhere else. I was told no problem but there would be a charge (which was fine with me, it wasn't a warranty issue) and the tech would call me back to either remote in or let me know if I needed to bring them in.

After 3 days and a couple of phone call I finally got a call back, I won't go into the complete dialog but I was completely dismissed and the tech could not get me off the phone fast enough. I was put on hold for a couple of minutes and when the tech got back on he told me "I have to go I have another customer" and hung up. This was before we even discussed the laptop which I had been told they could at least look at if not repair.

If I could afford to I would have taken the PC back to them and told them thanks, but no thanks. I never done this before, but I felt so strongly about how bad their customer service was I stop by their office to speak with a manager so they would know why I would never do business with them again, and so they would understand if they read a bad review from me. When I arrived at StarWest the receptionist got the manager for me (don't know his name since he never introduced himself). I gave him a short synopsis of my experience with thier customer service, he said "ok," I expanded on my experience and he said "ok," I expanded a little further so that he might understand my frustration and he replied "ok," then just stared at me.

If their customer service policy is to try and get rid of the customer it worked. I didn't know what to say to his indifference other than to get mad, so I turned and left and will never do business with StarWest again!

I bought a laptop from Starwest over a year ago and I have really loved that laptop. Anytime there has been a problem which are far and few between STARWEST has been happy to help. Their customer service has really bent over backwards to give me the best product and satisfaction. There are a lot of computer stores around but nothing compares to STARWEST. I will never regret buying from STARWEST! Anyone with doubts go try it out for yourself!

STARWEST COMPUTERS has taken VERY good care of me

they fixed my computer in a short period of time, they also educated me as to how i can avoid future repairs (i had a nasty viral infection), they were extremely reasonable in their pricing as well.

they gave me VERY personable service and i WILL recommend them to anyone needing computer help . . .they are a locally owned family business and we as citizens REALLY need to support our own!

I purchased an ASUS Eee Pad Transformer from Star West's Woods Cross store on 8/8/2011 for $475.

It turns out that prices for this device range from $389.88 to $423.18 according to CNET Reviews, and locally this device is available for $399 or less.

I went to the Woods Cross store in the hope that it would refund the difference between its' inflated price and the usual price of $399, but the manager declined.
