Gilbert's Chowder House

At first I was a little reluctant to try them after a comment that my son had made a little more than a year ago, but my wife said that she would like to try someplace new. Realizing that restaurants can change in time, I decided, at my wife's suggestion that we would try them out.

Well I'm glad that I did, it was a great experience and we now have a new restaurant to frequent.

Unfortunately when people look at the ratings for this restaurant they will see a lower ratings based on the first from over a year ago. I had the fried clams with onion rings, steak fries and coleslaw, they were absolutely delicious. My wife had bake stuffed haddock with baked potato and vegetable medley and she very much enjoyed it.

I think they should remove the first rating and give them the chance that they disserve.

I'm usually not one to take time out to rate things, but I couldn't help myself after seeing the low score that they received from only one comment. A definite thumbs up for this restaurant, give them another chance, you won't be sorry.
