        Dr. Childs is joining Granger Medical Clinic after completing his residency in Boston, Massachusetts at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. He is a native of the Salt Lake Valley and is excited to return to raise his family in the area after being on the east coast for 10 years. In order to provide excellent care for his patients, Dr. Childs has dedicated himself to staying up to date on the latest research, treatments, and procedures in urology. As a general urologist, he is excited to offer a wide array of procedures to his patients to treat benign prostatic enlargement, genitourinary cancers, and everything in between. His philosophy is that every patient deserves to be empowered with knowledge regarding all treatment options.

        Phlebotomist at the west jordan clinic drew my 6 day old baby's blood and told me to take the bandage off after 10 minutes so it wouldn't irritate her skin. I did so, 30 minutes later I go to take her out of the car seat her skin is clammy and there is BLOOD EVERYWHERE. I take her to urgent care and they told me the phlebotomist stuck her too close to a vein? I leave a message on the website and no response after 7 weeks. My hope for writing to the website was that I could ask to have that phlebotomist retrained. She almost killed my 6 day old baby so I believe it wouldn't be unreasonable to ask that she be retrained but because they failed to contact me I was never able to communicate that to them. My only option now is to post the same complaint on as many sites as possible to prevent other parents from allowing the phlebotomists at this location to harm their children.
