Crystal River

TERRIBLE TRIP!!! The river is 11 miles long... and I promise you that you will CARRY your 30 year old, leaking FIBERGLASS canoe 10 1/2 miles out of the 11!!! DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET A DIRVORCE OR NEVER TALK TO YOUR CANOE PARTNER AGAIN!!! We spent 5 hours dislodging the canoe from trees, rocks, shallow river beds and other "obstacles" along the way. IT WAS NOT FUN. PLUS!!!! The canoes are very, VERY old and made of fiberglass... so guess what your body is COVERED in it. I had to take 3 showers and shave my entire body 4 times to get half of it off... i just had to live with the rest of it. It feels like you've just hugged a cactus, super itchy and won't come off.

We are so disgusted with this company. I can't believe that sell this "service" when they KNOW that the river is low and the boat's fiberglass rubs off onto you... I just called the office and asked a few questions... ones we should have asked before we went. This is what happens when you put faith into people who are trying to rip you off.
