Waukegan High School is a public institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 2,700 students and offers subjects, such as English, social studies, computer science, technology, business, science, mathematics, health and physical education, music and art. It also offers a number of sports activities, including cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, badminton, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track and field.
