Steven Botwick, MetLife Auto & Home

My husband passed away at the end of September. He had several life insurance policies with MetLife. I am having a horrible time accessing the funds (which have been dispersed and total about $1M) because of a “software glitch”). I contacted this agency only in trying to get a phone number for a MetLIfe office within the US that might be able to assist me, and prefaced my phone call with the knowledge that I knew this agency would not be able to help me directly. When I finished my polite explanation of the situation, the man who answered the phone (possibly Steven Botwick, the agency owner) responded by saying “Are you finished?”, in as rude a manner as you could imagine. So this is how he treats a new widow seeking minimal assistance? MetLife in general and this agency in particular are AWFUL. Buyer beware. I will never, ever do business with any MetLife company again. What a horrible human being.
