Ivanhoe's Drive In

I've been a customer at Ivan's since 1966, when my folks moved to Upland, IN from monument city up in Huntington Co.,

Indiana. Always generous helpings of good wholesome foods and ICE CREAM. Don't get me wrong the ice cream is

still real good but I must say; I really thought some of the older receipes were just a whole lot better then what you get

now. For example-The peanut-butter milkshakes really suck now and they have for 5-6 years or more! All they do is

lob a glob of p'butter in soft vanilla ice cream, add a little milk and mix it a little. Used to be you'd get a "peanut-butter

fudge" milkshake with HARD VAnilla Ice Cream and man did it make it better.



To the owner's of Ivanhoe's whoever runs that establishment now as to the receipes and menu, please, please, bring

back the old timer's PeanutButterFudge Milkshake.



I'd like to add that some of the ice cream is a little "over" priced.

...for ice cream! If you can't find an ice cream creation to suit you here, you're hopeless. Hundreds of sundaes & shakes to choose from, hand dipped while you watch. Long line? Don't worry, it's worth the wait.
