Angela is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a RN at both a pediatric urgent care clinic and a pediatric emergency department. She works alongside our pediatric urologists seeing children with urologic conditions including bedwetting, urinary incontinence, dysfunctional voiding, hernia issues and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Dr. Grewal has extensive experience in minimally invasive and open surgical approaches for benign and malignant disease of the urinary tract. He practices general urology, with a special interest in kidney stone disease, prostate disorders, and robotic assisted procedures for cancers of the adrenal gland, kidney, bladder and prostate. Dr. Grewal has pioneered the use of multiparametric MRI in the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer in northeast Oklahoma. He has extensive experience in the use of MRI-ultrasound fusion for biopsy of the prostate, allowing fewer and more accurate prostate biopsies than the standard ultrasound guided procedures currently used.

He proceeded to Washington University in St. Louis where he completed an internship in general surgery followed by a residency in Urologic Surgery. During his residency, he was named the Resident in Excellence for 3 consecutive years (2010-2013), given by vote of the faculty to the resident who performs at the highest overall level within the Department of Urologic Surgery. He was also awarded the Scholarship Award in 2013, given to the senior resident with the highest overall score on the urology in-service examination.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Our urologists are extensively trained and experienced surgeons who utilize the latest technology to deliver World Class patient care. Our surgeons are pioneers in robotic surgery performing the area’s first robotic prostatectomy in 2005. Since then we’ve continued to be on the "cutting edge" of minimally invasive surgery. Our surgeons performed the first robotic partial nephrectomy (removal of a cancerous tumor from the kidney) in 2009 and the first robotic cystectomy (removal of the bladder) in 2010. USO physicians typically perform 10-14 robotic surgeries each week.
Vasectomy
Urologic Specialists is pleased to offer Nitrous Oxide (often known as laughing gas) for pain relief and anxiety during some in-office procedures including vasectomy, UroLift, prostate biopsy, SpaceOar and cystoscopy.
