        Doctor Murphy graduated from M.I.T. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences (Phi Beta Kappa). She received her medical degree (M.D.) from Harvard Medical School. After medical school, she attended a one-year residency in internal medicine at a Yale University hospital. Her three-year residency in ophthalmology was performed at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, which is one of the world’s foremost eye institutes. Doctor Murphy is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the Pima County Medical Society and Tucson Society of Women Physicians. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy sightseeing and hiking in our national parks. Doctor Murphy is fluent in Italian, and also speaks French and Spanish.

        Very professional without any of that arrogant doctor attitude. Lots of experience and expertise. Business-like, straightforward. Excellent recommendations that were just right for me. Excellent outcome to cataract removal surgery and IOL implants. I am thrilled. .

        I think Doctor Murphy is wonderful












        1 After hearing horror stories from friends who went to other or other providers, I was quite apprehensive about cataract surgery but, everything went very well, no bumps in the road and now I can see better than I have in years!

        Very pleased with my experience with Dr Murphy and staff

        Super friendly environment. Made me feel well taken care of from the minute I walked in.
        Details of the procedure were very clear before and after surgery.
        Only one eye required cataract surgery. it is now 20/20
        When time comes, I will definitely come back here to have the left eye taken care of.

        I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I had no problems at all and can see clearly. I had a very high prescription and could not see a thing without my glasses. Now I don't need them except for reading. It feels like a miracle and I am so pleases.
