I've been here a few times and sometimes had to wait a little while. I'm smart enough to leave if it's an hour or more of waiting.
Here's a hint; T.I.P.S. To Insure Proper Service.
I enter smiling and ready to have a good time. EVERYWHERE I GO!
Each time I've eaten here, I have encountered servers that were happy I was there, and chefs that WANTED to create a wonderful meal.
I ask the chef to use his expertise when preparing my food. I'll say something like," I like spicy, I like yellowfin, I like new adventures."
SPICY BEN FRANKLIN, SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL, HAND GRENADES, all with the chef's twist are a few of my fave's.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED RUDELY, OR DISAPPOINTED DURING MY VISITS HERE. I ask the server's name and then CALL HER BY NAME. I've never had a long wait for my order. After a couple of the AYCE items, if good, I will TIP the chef and compliment him on his creations. I MEAN EVERY WORD! I'm not a suck up just to keep the peace. ASK MY PEEPS! I expect things to be right and here they always are. I'M WRITING THIS REVIEW HONESTLY. I'M NOT BEING COERCED OR BRIBED IN ANY WAY!
I like coming here and will continue coming.
Yes, I drop a C NOTE each visit, but, I would do the same just about anywhere else too. That is drinks, food, and tips.
Take care of me and I'll take care of you.
FEARLESS CHICKEN ROCKS!
Went in with my husband and nephew one afternoon around 1:30pm knowing that they closed at 2:30pm requesting all you can eat, we figured we had one hour to get full. Were sat down and asked for our first order at 1:45pm, the all you can eat is way to simple and way overpriced, nothing looked good. Waited another 15min while the sushi chef talked about his personal life with someone who was sitting next to us and wasn't even a costumer. At 2:10 we waited again for the sushi chef to finish talking so we could order something else. At 2:20 we were asked if we were ready for something else, we ordered two hand rolls at which time we also told the waitress we wanted to pay a la carte Our hour was almost up anyway. For our 3 rolls, 2 hand rolls and 1 beer we still ended up paying $60 bucks. We left hungry and figured if we ever want sushi, reno is worth the drive.
The service was unbelievably slow. Went there two times, once it was busy and the other time my party was one of two tables and the service was still SO SO SO SLOW. They have an all you can eat option for an hour, but you are lucky if you get three rolls. PICK UP THE PACE !!!
