        Brides/Grooms Beware!

        Ordered wedding cake, strwbry&whip cream filling, W/C on the outside in Sep. for Dec. wedding-HS said No Problem we can do that.TWO weeks before our wedding, the day our balance was due they said they would NOT do fresh strawberries.They REFUSED, saying they had an incident where some berry juice bled thru a cake. We made calls to other bakeries but they were booked for 2 wks. away. We had to change the filling to strawberry cream-Nasty. We had a 5:00 p.m. private residence wedding with recep. same location. HS was to dlvr cake bet. 3:30/4:00. By 4:30 NO CAKE. Guests were arriving.Cake not delivered til 4:50 for a 5:00 pm wedding & they set the cake up while guests were seated waiting for the wedding to begin which is where the cake was displayed also. If you use HS for your cake, GET WEDDING INSURANCE! Other bakeries will do fresh berry/wh.crm wedding cakes.Decorator did do a beautiful job on outside.They offered us a free b-day cake for the disaster-we said NO THANKS. -PASS IT ON
