General Info: The Transportation Department, a part of Tahlequah Public Schools, serves more than 2,500 students daily through a fleet of school buses. The department also maintains buses that are equipped with lifts and other necessary equipment for children with disabilities. Tahlequah Public Schools is a school district that governs various elementary, middle and high schools. It high schools curricula include math, science, Spanish, career technology education and fine arts. The district s schools offer membership opportunities to students in the National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America, and Family Career and Community Leaders of America. Tahlequah Public Schools also organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, including French, science, photography and art clubs.
