Braids By Isabelle

Not yet a customer. I was curious to why I could not read the negative reviews, it kept re-directing me the 5 stars reviews.
This isn't helping me make my decision at all. It looks like the current customer who had mentioned bogus 5 stars reviews were posted so the shop would look creditable and get clients. SMH.

I too am a recent customer of Isabelle's braid shop and to the contrary, I had a beautiful, professional and shift service all on a same day appointment which she went out of her way to accomendate me for.
The shop environment was clean,peaceful and the braiders were friendly and I must add......there was no excessive cell phone use or breaks taken.
A veteran braider myself , I have been all over the globe for braid services.
I commute one hour each way to return for services from Isabelle and will remain a faithful customer.
If this were a fine department store and there was a complaint, it would be only fair to return to Customer service and give them a chance to retify the problem. Clearly this was not the case by this previous customer.
A fellow sister or business owner would consider the hard work it takes to maintain customer satisfaction and "treat others the way we want to be treated'.

We also, DO GET WHAT WE PAY FOR......not sure what size braids you got or what other sevices but shops/salons that charge less than $250 for ANY service is scarce.
My advice check it out for yourself before you judge. You dont want to miss out on a great experience.

I love this place as well. I got my hair braided for my cruise and just love it. The young ladies that work in this shop are very friendly and they are like family. That is how long they have been doing my hair.

I love this place ! I've been going here since my senior year of highschool.... All the ladies are friendly and work fast. I'm never in the longer than 5 hours ! Whenever I call I can get in the same day! Thanks ladies you are the best !!

They MUST be writing their own reviews! I went there WITH my hair already micro braided from previously done a month earlier in NY. All I wanted was to re-do the front/back of my hair, fresh up the hair a bit. Even though I did call and explain what I needed done. Got there and was told by Isabelle that she DIDN'T know how to braid short hair. I've always worn braids and never once had anyone told me my had was too short for braids! Clearly, she shouldn't be having a hair salon. Very dirty, out dated shop, old unsafe furniture. Their neglected kids in the salon, crying and fussing. As far as I could see, NOBODY in that salon knew how to braid! So please, STOP with the fraudulent reviews. Does anyone know where I can get real nice microbraids done in the state of GA????

Maintaining "natural" hair can be time consuming and challenging, so I was looking for other options other than a sew in or wearing a wig. I'd never had braids before and decided to give it a try. I was extremely nervous because I was not familiar with any shop in the area that could create a nice style that I would love. I started searching the internet and after about two weeks I came across the reviews for Isabelle's African Hair Braiding shop. There were more positives than negatives so I decided to give her a call. I spoke with the owner, Ms. Isabelle, and immediately had a wonderful conversation with her. She is a soft spoken, patient and very understanding woman. I told her I would like to come in and discuss styles that I thought would work for me. She is very knowledgeable and professional and she recommended the best braids for my hair. I made an appt. for that weekend. She was very open to the date and time I wanted to have my hair done. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck on the day that I was to get it done. She told me how to "prep" my hair before getting it braided (another sign of her excellent knowledge and years of experience). I was always told how sore my scalp would be during and after getting braids. She understood my concerns and told me she would not have the braids too tight. To make a long story short, I have been back 3 times since my first experience with Ms. Isabelle and her sweet sisters (who assist her). I get tons of compliments on my braids and they last a very long time. Another great thing about Ms. Isabelle and her sisters, they value their customers and do the very best to make the customer comfortable and satisfied. I am a customer for life and can not imagine going anyplace else to have my braids done. Try it for yourself and you will also be a believer. Oh and the prices are excellent!! I have been wanting to get my hair braided for the first time and didn't have a clue as to where I was going to get it done at. My uncle discovered Isabelle's shop. I walked in and Isabelle greeting me with such a lovely grace. I asked her if I was able to get my hair done today and she advised yes with no hesitation. I am so happy that I decided to let them braid my hair because being that this is my first experience my hair turned out to be so wonderful. They are very professional and sweet and for the best part really know how to braid hair. Thanks Isabelle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I met this owner at another location she was alway calm and carried a good sprit a about her. My oldest daughter lost her hair due to medical issues and I took her for braids Isabelle and her team help my daughter grow her hair back and build her self- esteem up. I am forever grateful and will always use them for my braiding service.

Great friendly, efficient service. Business like. Isabelle and her assistant finished my hair in about 5 hours with micro wet/wavy. What a relief I hate to sit for braids. the only negative thing I have to say is that although I could not tell when they were braiding it was tight. The spray they offered at the end really helped. But the pain was worse the next day. Needless to say a month later my braids still look great so no pain, no gain. I will still be back but if you have sensitive scalp be forewarned. Otherwise they were great and highly recommended plus they had free internet and I was able to get some work done so it was a productive day.

Isabelle is absolutely amazing!! She's super sweet and is very talented. I've been getting my hair braided with her for 2 years! Fair prices, great atmosphere!
