Went on a date here when visiting the area...weeell..it was oookay. I give this a 5 for the server being great and decent portion size. The BBQ itself not so much great, it was alright that gets it an overall 3. After all you do come to restaurants for the food. I had the rib tips w/loaded baked potato (the loaded part was just butter mixed w/seasoning and perhaps bacon in it) and the seasoned vegetables.
Delicious!! my husband and I were a little afraid after reading the reviews on YP, but it was excellent food, our waiter, a guy named derek was wonderful, all around great place!! i would highly recommend it for just good bbq, not sure if it's "texas" style or whatever, but it was yum:)
Quite possibly the best place to eat in the spokane area. If you like steak or pulled pork or taters or any good barbecue food then this is definitely the place for you. If you want drinks too the bar is fun and the drinks are inexpensive and stiff. Also the service was amazing, our waitress, Lisa, really went above and beyond to take care of us. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area and hungry for some good food.

- General Info
- The Longhorn Barbecue originated in Houston, Texas, in 1946. After 10 years in business in the "pistol packin' city" the brothers decided to move to the great Northwest. Since coming to Spokane from Texas, the brothers have captured the hearts of Spokane diners with their excellent "Southern Pit Style" Barbecue. Pardnur, this is real pit barbecue because the meats are smoked on the pits by a combination of apple, cherry, alder, and birch woods... In 1997 the Longhorn headed West again and opened a new restaurant in Auburn, Washington. Now folks can enjoy Texas style barbecue on both sides of the Cascades. In 2002 the brothers hung up their hats from working the pits and passed down the reins to two teams. Longhorn East and Longhorn West are both destined to share this genuine Texas-style barbecue with the world. Whether it's a company function or a family event, when the Longhorn "Chuck Wagon" rolls up, the feed bag is on.
