Magnolia Grove Reception Center

My company had their Christmas Party here- and I can't say enough good things about the way the event went. In Utah, where event centers (especially when it comes to weddings) are often gaudy, tacky, or overly trendy, Magnolia Grove is a classic, timeless option with a little southern charm.



The reception center itself is remarkably clean and up kept- and while spacious enough for a very large group, still felt quite cozy and inviting with our smaller group. As we were there at Christmas time, Magnolia Grove was tastefully decorated for the holidays and felt festive and warm.



The food was fabulous and plentiful, and was likely the best meal I've ever had that was catered for a group. The meatballs were especially delicious- as were the garlic mashed potatoes. The dessert was also spectacular, I couldn't get enough of the eclairs and I tried my husband's cheesecake- also great!



The grounds were also absolutely breathtaking. The front and back yards are well manicured, and I can only imagine how beautiful wedding photos would be - there are a number of great spots where they could be taken. There is also a large amount of parking in their spacious, well lit parking lot that could accommodate even large parties.



Overall, I would definitely recommend Magnolia Grove to a friend (and would then cross my fingers that I would be invited to the event).

I am the Mother of a very happy bride. After looking and searching throughout the valley for the perfect venue for her wedding day, my daughter chose Magnolia Grove Reception Center. The day was the best. From the beautiful crystal chandeliers with the feel of a grand southern plantation to the elegance of lead crystal candle centerpieces. My daughter chose the Magnolia Grove Speciality Buffet for the evening menu followed by the chocolate fountain. The food was so fresh and delicious. It was prepared onsite by their professional kitchen staff. We were complemented continually thoughout the evening by our guests. The grand staircase was the perfect place for her to throw her bridal bouquet. She had dancing and a DJ. With her Grandmother in a wheelchair there was plenty of room to include her in the dancing. Pushing her around the dance floor and dining room. There really was plenty of room for a huge crowd. At the end of the evening before they left in their limosine the hostess presented them with a going away basket with snacks, sparkling grape juice, goblets,candles and even red rose petels. Thank you Magnolia Grove for making my daughters wedding day a dream come true.
