General Info

Dr. Subodh Lal has been practicing medicine since 2000. In addition to general gastrointestinal disorders, Dr. Lal has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, as well as pancreaticobiliary medicine, which deals with the treatment of diseases of the pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts. He also enjoys performing ECRP, or Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatogram, an endoscopic procedure that allows physicians to examine the bile and pancreatic ducts. Dr. Lal completed a combined BA/MD program at Boston University School of Liberal Arts and Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Lal is a member of several groups and organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is accepting new patients and is pleased to offer first-class care at the new Smyrna facility.
