kenneth cail is a sloppy, flipant, arrogant, prejiduce man. my husband and i got stuck with him as a so called public defender. he makes a mockery of the chatham county court-system. it is a shame that so many indegent accused have to deal with attitudes like him. i went to go discuss my husbands case with him and he looked at and treated me as if i had taken a dump on his desk or something. i spent all day on the bus gathering my husbands college transcripts and met with his instructors to get letters of recomendation and character witnesses, and he wouldnt even look at the paperwork. he said it wouldnt make a differnce!! i never got a return phone call or any correspondence with him other than that day. the d.a. kept offering a plea of five years in prison for a simple posession charge. due to kenneth cail's negligence i was forced to hire an attorney. i sold my car to get the money. our new attorney was very interested in his progress at school his achievements. she made copies of every single piece of paper i had in my hand and listened to me for about thirty minutes and said she would do her very best. she got a new plea of two years!!! AMAZING!! sorry tail cail clda done the same thing if wanted to. but that's just it....he didnt want to. i guess he has a bad taste in his mouth for indegent people and interacial couples. who knows? if he doesnt like people who get in trouble maybe he shouldnta gone to school to be a criminal defense attorney...dont ya think? he shlda been a plumber or the maytag repairman. thats who he looks like.
