Union Middle School is a learning center that is located in Sandy, Utah. It serves more than 1,120 students in grades seven through nine. The school provides general academic and special education programs. It conducts Spanish and health education classes. The school offers extracurricular activities, such as physical education, art and music. Union Middle School also operates a band, choir, orchestra and guitar club. The school also offers the National Junior Honor Society for students. It operates a parent-teacher association that sponsors several musical concerts, school programs and special events. It publishes a newsletter that carries information on academic and social activities. Union Middle School is governed by the Jordan School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools, as well as special education centers.
