I would highly recommend Dr. Barton and his associate, Dr. Li, to anyone in need of orthodontic services in the San Diego area. They successfully corrected the mismatch of my bite. I paid a one-time up-front fee for the procedure and even though my bite correction took considerably more time than originally planned, at no time did Dr. Barton skimp on my treatment options or suggest increasing the payment. Both Drs. Barton and Li always fully discussed my options with me and stuck with me until the problem was fully resolved. The entire staff in the office, including the doctors, the dental assistants and the front desk staff, are friendly and concerned, not only about your treatment, but about other issues going on in your life; they remember even small details and ask about them during future appointments. I could not have found a better and more supportive environment to get me through the process.

So far not happy at all. I was promised to finish the treatment in March or April. It is August now, and I don't see that it will be over soon.



Good: the stuff is nice. Seems like they have a good team.

Bad: two doctors treat me differently without much of coordination. One does one thing that causes me pain for weeks, then when I come back the other one changes it in the original position that causes more pain. And, as a result I am where I was a year ago if not worse.

Sometimes you have to spend there over an hour to adjust the wires just because there are too many patients and only one doctor.

A few times when I needed to see my doctor for a small emergency or to address some concerns in between the appointments, he was not available. They work only 2-3 days a week or something, so good luck to get hold of one if you need them.
