Please read my experience with camp bow wow. Below are FACTS! DO NOT bring your pups here!
Lost my paperwork multiple times! 3 times is too many times for me to have to fill out paperwork.
Aubrie told me she was the manager and she didn’t have anyone above her that she reports to. When I asked why her card says “assistant manager” she then refused to give me any other info of anyone else to call.
My dog was there for over 24 hours and only was given 1/2 of ONE of her feedings. When we called to see how she was doing we were told she was doing great and has been eating great.
My dog was only seen on camera 2 times in the whole time she was there. Camera was consistently checked every hour!
Camp bow wow employees did not call me or my emergency contact! Aubrie told me they called me and left a vm but my vm isn’t and never has been set up. They lied!
Asked to see proof of whether she was out and about with the other dogs and Aubrie told me she couldn’t show me. She had to talk to her other managers first to see if it was okay.
Only bring your dog here if you want them to be neglected and starved for their stay! I am still waiting on a call back from anyone to resolve this issue!
Camp Bow Wow is great! Service is awesome! Staff is so helpful! I won't take my dogs anywhere else.
Camp bow wow looks good so far. My bear hasn't stayed there for more than the 3 hour interview process but he came home tired! I love how they can choose to be inside or out when ever they please. The fact that they get a peanut butter filled kong treat before bed is also comforting! I also loved the fact that I could watch my pup interacting and playing right on my phone with their camera app! My only concern is that I did not see any water they could access other than while they are in their cabins... Or cages I should say.. I allow my dog acces to water whenever he pleases, so that is a little abnormal and somewhat concerning to me. Especially if he is playing the whole time! I could be wrong, as I just glanced over the play area when we walked through for a tour.. But I definitely did not see any from the camera's point of view. Over all I am pretty pleased with camp bow wow. Oh! and.. Their councelors
are great with the pups!
They treat my dog so well here and my dogs seem to love it. I like the fact that I was able to bring their own beds to make them feel more at home while they were staying for several nights. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
My dogs love this place and so do I. The dogs come home exhausted which I love. The place is a little expensive now that they raised prices, but still worth the quiet that I get when I bring my exhausted dogs home!
Camp bow wow, we've been taking our dogs there since they were old enough to go! They recently raised their prices, which made paying for two dogs for 7 days a little more pricy. Otherwise, they are great and the dogs seem to enjoy their time. I wish the "camper cams" worked with apple internet browsers.
My dog loved Camp Bow Wow. She played all day for her interview. She played so hard for the interview that the slept the following day. Camp Bow Wows staff was very professional and informative. We will take our dog there for future vacations and even just for a day to play. I love the fact that where ever you are can log on to their website and see how your pets are doing.
Camp bow wow is great! The only problem we had was with one of our newer dogs, he just needed a little bit more time and patience. When he went for his interview the girl working only interacted with him for about 10 min she came off kind of negative which we didnt like. We called and talked to the owner who was very kind and willing to give him a little bit more of a chance, she was great! Very good energy and she was really patient and kind with him. He didn't pass but our other dog did. We really appreciate them going the extra mile for us and the rest of the staff was awesome! We would highly recommend camp bow wow! We love that the dogs get to play all day and we love the cameras! We are so excited for jack (the one who passed) to play all weekend while we go on vacation!
This is a fabulous place! I took my 2 Chinese Crested (1 - 14 1/2 yrs old and the other 7 yrs old) and my Mexican Hairless (11 yrs old) for their interview. Yes I said interview. They don't only want to meet and speak with you, but your dog must pass the Canine Camper Interview. The interview consists your dog meeting another dog the same size and then a couple dogs and then several dogs. When they introduce the dogs, they are very smart and introdue them as a dog would. They allow each to smell the others behind, all while being very controlled. Then the dogs stay and interact for 2 -3 hours or lonoger if you wish to ensure how they will do. Once the dogs pass the test, then the staff meets and they are told about each of the dogs and how they interacted, etc. It was fun watching the process on the tv and even better that the dogs were tired from their experience without being overwhelmed or intimidated. I also like that there is always a human in with the dogs in the play area. Looking forward to the kids having an overnight with them. I live approx 1 hr north of this facility and it was the only facility I felt comfortable enough to allow my dogs to be boarded at.
I give this place 5 stars because of their wonderful service, accommodating staff, and most importantly, the care they give my dogs. For any dog lover out there that cannot bring your dog with you when you travel, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! The facilities are spotless, and they will accommodate for the special needs of your pet. You can bring your own food, or they will provide it... AND they even give your dog a peanut butter filled Kong at bed time, if you allow them too.
