Cedar Imaging

I had an MRI completed in Feb 2009 as a follow up to a brain cyst I have monitored on a yearly basis. The radiologist report failed to even mention the cyst! I had to call back several times to have the cyst information added to the radiologist report. It turns out that the size of the cyst has changed slightly from last year--what a thing to miss!!!! Very poor communication and diagnostics.



The other concern I had was that they called my insurance company to authorize the MRI for the WRONG DATE. I also called my insurance company to verify and that is how I caught the mistake. When I called Cedar Plaza, they told me that I'm not supposed to call my insurance company, they are. I firmly explained that they authorized the wrong date and, after all, it is MY insurance company-I can call them anytime I see necessary. Very poor experience, will never return.



There are many options for MRI. If you are told you need a MRI, obviously it is something serious and you want to make sure they find what needs to be found with the imaging. I would absolutely find another place to go.
