We participate with a wide range of insurance providers; please have your vision insurance information ready when making an appointment. We carry a wide variety of designer frames and sunglasses, contact lenses, and supplies. We also have a full service lab on premises for fast turn around and quality assurance. Our optician has over 35 years experience in the optical business.

Beware of these fast and smooth talking eyewear retailers. Read that fine print regarding implied warranties. My 16 month old very pricey Guess frames and progressive lenses have developed a peeling scratch coating. The glasses are in pristine condition...I for one keep my nail files away from my face and glasses... They were quick to collect, refusing any remedy for peeling scratch coat...Really???
I went to Designs for Vision for my yearly eye exam. I ordered contacts and glasses. I do not have vision insurance so I shopped around and found them to be the most reasonablely priced optical place in the Downriver area. Also I received a my glasses the next day! This was my first time going there and everything went great. I would recommend giving them a try.
The doctor is fine, however his staff doesn't know the billing practices or ordering practices without making errors, not worth the headache I had to go through with my insurance company and waiting 2 months and going through 3 pairs of glasses because they kept placing the order wrong.
We have a family of 4 and all went in for an exam. Everyone was extremely friendly and very knowledgable. They were excellent with my husband, explaining him needing reading glasses. They were excellent with my teenager (perfect eyes). They were excellent with my 6 year old and explaining to HIM the need for his glasses. And excellent with me! I had many questions about contacts vs glasses and they were able to answer every question to my satisfaction. I love everyone in the office and have no intentions of going anywhere else!
