        This is an old school southern comfort restaurant: all fried or smothered (or both) good basic home cooking in giant portions and reasonable prices.

        Old atmosphere, waitstaff and hokey gimmicky looking surroundings at to the effect.

        Staff are attentive, food is ok, salads are huge, grilled chicken is average, meatloaf is uninspired, overall very average.
