The food service here is awful, Cold Meals, The wrong food, screwed up meals! Weekend and night nursing is all contracted foreign help (Paramount) most of them. could care less for you I have seen it in person. The only time there are full time employees here is if they are working extra shifts or on Monday- Friday 7:00 am-4:00pm some full time day shift Wingate Nurses are great and very helpful but at night and the weekends watch out!
I had my knee done and came to Wingate for a few days of rehab at the suggestion of a friend of mine. I was so nervous. As soon as I arrived, everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. I had a private room with my own shower which was great. The rehab team came right in to work with me and I really saw the benefits of the 6 days away from home as much as I wished I could have gone right home. It was a real nice touch that they had diet coke in the mini fridge for me when I arrived as I happen to mention it on the tour! I would recommend Wingate to anyone especially orthopedic surgery patients. My doctor is so impressed with my progress and I really feel like I owe it to Wingate. I'll be going back for my other one in a year or so.
