also you denying to participate in a field sobriety test is NOT suspicious. You exorcising a right is in no way suspicious and is not grounds for additional investigations. That only makes sense from the officer's perspective.

Field sobriety tests are tests officers use to check if you're intoxicated. They might ask you to walk a straight line or balance on one leg. The problem is you might fail either of those without having had a drink! My attorney advised refusing these tests.

Drivers are not legally required to partake in a field sobriety test or to use a preliminary alcohol screening device. Refusing to take these tests could benefit the driver by not giving the officer proof that he or she is intoxicated. However, it could create suspicion in some officers. In either case, if the officer finds additional evidence that a person is driving while intoxicated, he or she will likely be arrested.

either way you will lose your license most states have a non compliance law that even if you don't take the test and don't get the DUI you will forfeit your license for a year or so. The best bet is don't get caught or don't drink and drive. you agree to submit to the test in most states when you get the license even if your unaware of it. You have the right to refuse but you also have the right to forfeit your privilege to drive as well nothing free in life. If you have the money take the test and rely on a good attorney if you don't have a lot of priors.

If you refuse you could loose your license

However I did refuse because somebody claimed that I was all over the road I was not drinking I don’t nothing illegal I refuse to take that test and I was let go at the Washington State patrol

main Washington state if you are over 30 pounds in weight the test would be invalid however you may have to take a blood test

This is a trick question used by law enforcement. If questioned PRIOR to being arrested to take a test, tell him 'No thank you, sir'. You were advised by your attorney to refuse taking any test. If however, and this is very, very important, you are asked to take a test AFTER being arrested, you must comply or suffer the consequences imposed by the law for not taking the test. LE does not tell you this caveat because taking the test prior to an arrest helps him to determine if in fact you have exceeded the legal level of intoxication. Keep in mind at all times, law enforcement is not your friend. Shut the f--- up and say nothing since everything you say will be used against you. You can count on that.

Anyone can refuse to participate in a field sobriety test, but the officer can use other methods, like a breathalyzer test or their own judgment. You can still be arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
