my dog has a fish hook in his lip and I can't afford to take him to the vet

I had this happen to my cousins dog, when she jumped up and bit my lure down by the pond we were fishing, and so she had a mouth full of treble hooks,, ouch. So your going to have to finish pushing the hooks threw his flaps , so that the barb on the hook is out the other side, your gonna need help holding him down, cause it's gonna hurt, but once you push the hook threw ,and you can see the barbs, you then want to take a pair of wire cutters and cut the hook off just below the barb ,and then the hook will just slid right back out the way it went in, with just a little assistance,, good luck,
