After completing a residency in vision therapy at State University of New York, she returned to a faculty appointment at Pacific University. While there she taught courses in clinical procedures and served as the Chief of the Pediatric Service for the college vision clinics. She has served as a member of a National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Since moving to Pullman in 2001, she has been an active member of the Pullman Kiwanis Club and advisor to the Pullman High School Key Club. Dr. Scott's areas of optometric interest and specialty are pediatrics and vision therapy. She and Dr. Paulson are married and have one son. They enjoy cycling, running, and attending Cougar sporting events.

Ophthalmologists

Glaucoma
Dilation allows your doctor to examine the health of the inside of your eye, and check for conditions like macular degeneration and glaucoma. We recommend your pupils be dilated the first time we see you, and if all is healthy, about every two years after that. After age 65, or if you have a diagnosed eye condition, it will be more frequent.
Macular Degeneration
Our doctors are trained to provide treatment and management of many types of eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, cataracts, and acute or chronic red eyes. Some conditions require close monitoring.
Laser Eye Surgery
If you are considering refractive or LASIK eye surgery, we can help you determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure. We will also work closely with the surgeon to provide you with the proper care both prior to and after the surgery.

Our practice proudly participates in the InfantSEE program, through which we offer a complimentary first evaluation prior to age 1. We recommend children receive their first eye exam at around 6 months old. Our doctors have advanced training in pediatric optometry and enjoy working with children. We understand that a child might feel a bit anxious going to the eye doctor for the first time, but we strive to help them have fun and feel comfortable while they are in our office.
