Excel Eye Center

I went to Dr. Lohner for cataract removal. At first i was so excited and also still thankful that he was able to get my first surgery scheduled at a hospital that he normally doesn't do surgery at. However, I don't believe that he checked my history. Without explaining or having me test monovision prior to recommending it. I have had the worst experience ever. I only needed a minimal prescription prior to cataracts for reading only. I now cannot see at all without progressive lenses. I cannot even get a good vision with contacts. Dr Lohner had called me from his personal phone, and i was really impressed that he cared enough to call me. He ask me not to give up on him. 2 days later, he walked into the exam room (after we had at least a 20minute conversation 2days prior to my concerns) and said, "now, tell me what the problem is". I have a 562.00 outstanding balance with your office. I can't even justify sending a dollar. My vision and quality of life was better with horrible cataracts. I know it wasn't done on purpose, but to act as though we never spoke 2 days after being asked not to give up is unacceptable. As unacceptable as the time Dr Lohner told me the only fix to what vision im left with is the burden of paying for my own lasik to undo what he did.

My daughter wanted a very specific type of contact lens. We went to the American Fork clinic where she saw Dr. Simmons. He prescribed a his "preferred" brand of contact lens, which she wore for a week and had fitted. When we asked for a prescription for the colored contact lenses she WANTED, we were told that Dr. Simmons would only prescribe a specific brand (not the lenses we wanted). Had we known this right up front, we would never have gone to Excel. The prescription was not rewritten and despite the prescription being brand new, she now has to go to Walmart or Costco so she can get the type of contact lens she wants to wear. BEWARE: They write prescriptions so you are stuck with the brand THEY decide you should wear. If you know what you want to wear, go somewhere where you're the PATIENT, not the CONSUMER they want to sell contact lenses to. We will NOT be back.

I've had a routine eye exam with Dr. Parsons at Excel Eye Center. I very much recommend him, Excel and all the great folks there.

I was very impressed with the personal attention and care the employees showed when I went in. Dr. Morris and Dr. Wilkinson were very knowledgeable at explaining my condition and different options for treatment. I have been to other eye doctors in the area that weren’t nearly as helpful. I would definitely recommend Excel Eye Center.

I saw Dr. Morris at Excel Eye Center and he was able to help me with all my eyecare needs. I was impressed by the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. I only had to wait a few minutes before being called back. I highly recommend them.

I went in for a routine eye exam for a new glasses prescription and to check up on my contact prescription. The doctor was efficient and knowledgeable in meeting my needs. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend:)

Excel is such a great place to go. They can take care of anything and have so many great doctors. Dr. Theurer is so friendly, but still very professional. He's top notch.
