Always a great experience here. Place is older, but has a great charm. Staff is very friendly. With all these rinks closing its good to see one able to survive in Plainfield

Yeah the place may have some problems here and there but over all this is my personal favorite skating rank. I always have a good time while i am there.

This place was disgusting, just about every machine was broken, the soda flat and the food was covered in pathogens from 30 years ago. How is this place even open???

i have been going to the skate inn since i was a lil kid and i will be 30 soon and it has always been the same, even though the place could use a face lift i bring my 7yr old daughter and my 11-12 yr old nephews there and they always have a blast. Yes a lot of the games dont work properly, and i believe that they just dont make enough money to repair or replace them, i mean lets face it alot of the games are like 30-20yrs old. But i went here today and i noticed that they rearanged a few things in the arcade area and got rid of most of the broken games and have replaced them. I believe that if the place was remodeled they would bring n the same business that they used to back in the 90s.

although the skating rink is great for partys and skating, all the gaming machines are not . 75 % of them do not work.

They seem to be very aware of this but, even after our last visit a year ago there are still no out of order signs. the kids go around putting in their 50 cents = 2 tokens till they find one thats works if they can find one that works. They are basically stealing money from every one who try's to use them. unless a kid is smart enough to complain then they will give them a token back. this is pure robbery in my eyes and they have been getting away with it for some time.
