        YUMMY vittles

        First place my husband wants to eat when we arrive in Pigeon Forge. Very casual atmosphere, the employees wear jeans and t shirts. good southern food. The first thing they bring you is vittles, which consist of cole slaw, hush puppies, white beans pickles and onion slices. all you want and it comes with the meal. the menu has fried chicken, catfish, gator tail, frog legs, country fried steak, country fried chicken, chicken livers and more. you also get a choice of mashed taters or fries. also appetizers, a kids menu and desserts. (they do have a grilled chicken also) Your drink comes in a mason jar with free refills. your napkins are a roll of paper towels on the table. there is also a gift shop. Huck Finn's is located in the middle of Pigeon Forge on the parkway, the main road through town. There is a big cat fish out front, cant miss it. and at Christmas, the catfish wears a Christmas outfit. very cute. Dont miss this place if you like southern fried food, casual dining and friendly people. the only negative to Huck Finn's is they serve Pepsi, I am a Coke person. but that is minor. we have been going to Huck Finn's for years everytime we visit the Smoky Mountains. highly recommend.
