        The Community and Economic Development Department stimulates economic activity and offers a range of value-added business programs to build, revitalize and sustain community for businesses and residents. The department works with real estate brokerage and development community to provide information on prospective sites, real estate costs, infrastructure and demographic profiles. It facilitates access to educational institutions, training opportunities, and public and private work force development programs. The Community and Economic Development Department s small business division conducts visitations and interviews to local businesses to gather industry-specific information. The department also administers several sports development programs. It is governed by the City of Phoenix in Arizona.
