Overall

Front Office Ruined the Place

We loved our doctor there, but since the front office change, it is such a miserable experience that we left. They are not personable and treat us like an imposition every time we are there. It is just not worth having to deal with them to get to the doctor.

While our providers believe the absolute best care is delivered in-person, Camelback Pediatrics does offer telehealth services for certain issues.
Primary Care
We recommend that you call our office 3 months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
Ear Infections
Colds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.

We work hard to provide comprehensive medical care and serve as your medical home. To that end, we expect that you contact our office FIRST before seeking specialty care, or heading to another provider for urgent care. We want to be involved in either providing care in our office where appropriate, or referring you to the most appropriate specialist and helping to coordinate your care.

Infants aged 6 to 11 months who have been exposed to a confirmed case of measles should receive an early dose of the MMR vaccine. If a widespread community outbreak of measles occurs, especially if the child is in daycare, a second dose may be advised. If administered before 12 months of age, a third dose will be required to ensure full immunization.

If a Behavioral Evaluation with one of our providers is needed, we will schedule this visit for you and provide you with assessment tools that you can complete prior to the your visit.
