        Outstanding

        Most of the LaQuintas we've stayed in have been very clean, but otherwise, non-descript. This particular one in Paramus was outstanding!! Not only clean, but spotless, even the carpet--unheard of! And the room was huge. The furniture was all in good repair, and comfortable. At least two chairs, microwave, fridge, computer hookups at the desk, flat-screen...couldn't have been nicer. The neighborhood is upscale retail. The only drawback was the permanent concrete barrier dividing the main street (seems to be derigeur in this state); you have to drive about three miles to turn around to head in the opposite direction, and there is no restaurant within walking distance except Hooters (f'GET about it!). MAJOR plus: the walls are not paper-thin like in other LaQuintas where we stayed.
