- The podiatrists at Park Avenue Podiatry Associates, PC provide first-class foot and ankle care in Midtown East Manhattan, New York City. Dr. Scott R. Lurie and Dr. David L. Rossman welcome patients of all ages to our practice. We offer a full array of podiatric services and specialize in complete diabetic foot care, geriatric care and sports injuries. Dr. Lurie and Dr. Rossman are board-certified podiatrists and treat all types of foot and ankle conditions including Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, arthritis, athlete’s foot, calluses and corns, flat feet, fungal toenail, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, crush injuries, metatarsalgia, neuromas, plantar fasciitis and warts. Many minor surgeries are handled right in our office under local anesthesia. We are experts in treating diabetic foot and complications such as ulcers and wounds. With our professional staff, we use state-of-the-art technologies to diagnose and treat foot and ankle problems. Non-invasive waves called EPAT can painlessly address heel and foot pain, tendonitis and neuromas. MLS laser therapy uses light wavelengths to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation so tendons, ligaments and muscles can repair themselves. Shock wave therapy, or ESWT, helps heal chronic plantar fasciitis. Ultrasound-guided injections offer precise delivery of commonly injected medications like cortisone and local anesthetics. He quickly diagnosed my problem and on my next appt, I’m on my way to pain free walking! He is quick and more importantly, kind and generous with his explanations and medical Care. But now I feel like that children's fable about the lion with the thorn in his paw. It's not exactly out yet, but I feel 100% confident that in the next month it will be and I am very grateful for that and also how clearly and thoroughly the doctor went over every thing that's happening currently and what the next steps are. I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Lurie.
