The Inn At New Hyde Park - Long Island Event Venue

Came to know this hidden paradise on Jericho Tpke no less than a few miles from my home and was in awe. Not only is the garden beautifully groomed, the layout is so well done. I have passed this hall so many times and never expected to see what I saw inside. Simply beautiful. The service was excellent, very attentive staff. The wedding was held in the garden - LOVED it. We proceeded to the cocktail hour- DELISH loved the different stations , Asian, Italian, lines were long but so well worth it. Classy I cant find another way to explain it. The reception unforgettable. I highly recommend this establishment ! may look into a smaller room if they have it for daughter sweet sixteen.! you will not be disappointed.

My family and I ordered a Thanksgiving meal from the New Hyde Park Inn. I was surprised of how it was but was willing to pay the price because of our family situation. When we got home, to our surprise certain portions were extremely small. The mashed potatoes were about a tea spoon a piece. There was very little gravy on the meal. One meal was actually missing the vegetables. The dessert were a sliver a piece. We were very disappointed with our meal. I decided to call the restaurant and let them know about our dissatisfaction and the girl that answered asked me why I was calling when I asked for a manager. I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then somebody names Kelly answers the phone and I tell her about my dissatisfaction. She tells me "that she ate there herself and that her meal size was very good". She also said "I am sorry about this and the next time you come in, let us know". Now why would I ever want to go to this place? I highly recommend that you DON'T take out from here. The food is decent but they obviously don't know how to treat a patron.
