Modern Apizza

I'm extremely fortunate to live close enough to the BEST Pizza Restaurant on Planet Earth! To say I, and my friends will keep returning, is very powerful. It takes a lot to impress us when it comes to food.

The very best pizza in Connecticut. We drive down here monthly just to eat at Modern. Its well worth the 45 minute drive for us. Its just that good. High quality ingredients, knowledgable and friendly staff, and whoever cooks this pizza is amazing. Its that good people! The sausage they use is out of this world as well. The clams casino ditto. This is the benchmark of excellence

The pizza itself was excellent but the service was so bad that I wasn't able to enjoy it at all. The staff was rude, and was no where to be found for most of the meal, and on top of it they had an attitude with us like they were doing us a favor.
Like I said the food was good but I would never go back.

Modern Apizza is the best in the county of New Haven. I don't have any complaints about Modern Apizza. When I order my pizza I just ask them not to burn the crust and call very early on Fridays.
