We highly recommend Michael and Custom Remodeling! He arrived early every day and was very courteous and professional. We had a larger job that took several days and he always kept the work area neat and clean as well as constantly communicated his progress and sent corresponding pictures. Our job was somewhat of a custom request that he put a plan together for and executed exactly what we had in mind! His work was flawless, you can see he takes great pride of ownership with his jobs. We definitely will be using Michael for all our home improvement and handyman repair needs!

If i could, i would give Costum Remodeling and Restorations TEN stars! Michael is a true professional and all of his work shows excellence and pride. His estimate are reasonable, and he is always prompt. He is honest,good and reliable. To top it all, he is an avid animal lover. He will immediately befriend your pets and not allow them to sneak out if the house. He is an absolute gold mine.

Our bookshelves did not survive the move from Houston, TX to Newark, DE. My husband, a humanities professor, has 3000 books. So we were rather desperate when we had no place to put the books when we moved into our new home. Fortunately we found Michael Bingaman. He built bookshelves in the upstairs loft. They are professionally and excellently built. Michael made suggestions to help guide our decision as to what kind of shelves we needed. The shelves most certainly enhance the room that they are in. I found out about Michael's company Custom Remodeling and Restorations after looking around online to find someone to remove a flimsy decorative handrail that was installed on a staircase in my home when it was built in the 70's . Michael custom built and installed a new wooden stair rail on site and painted it for me at a very reasonable price . It looks so much nicer than what was there and is rock solid . Right from the beginning he listened very intently to what I wanted , made suggestions & completed the job just days after he came out to do the estimate . He showed up on time the day he said he would to do the estimate and again on the day he came to do the job. He does top notch work and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. He has a very pleasant demeanor and is a man of his word , which means a lot to me in this day & age . I am already talking to him about some other projects I need done. My Mother who is 84 years old and has Dementia was there the day he came out to do the job and he was very engaging and kind to her as well ... Remember that old saying "You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his Mother" or in this case , someone else 's Mother . I highly recommend that you consider Custom Remodeling & Restorations for any projects you have . I needed some help with some projects in a rental house that I was renovating. I needed 2 sets of doors installed (storm and inside) on each side of the house, and 2 oak railings and iron balusters installed on the main stairs in the house. I needed things done rather quickly and I went to the Internet to find help. Michael Bingaman had excellent reviews so I contacted him. He adjusted his schedule to help me out. I ordered doors and he picked them up (I couldn’t pick up and I saved on delivery). He started early in the morning and worked until finished. Excellent work. Great guy, good sense of priorities, attention to detail, reliable, and gave great recommendations on installation ideas that saved money and just made sense. At this point you’ve probably figured out that I recommend him highly. Yes, I do!

Micheal is an extremely talented guy. No job to small or to big. Prices are fair and has great vision. Told him what I Wanted and he made it come to life. Will definitely be using him in the near future and recommending him to friends and family. This guy is top notch and dependable

Michael is amazing!! Not only is he a master craftsman, but he is able to fix anything -inside or outside of your home. For example, one of the things we needed were steps with a railing going from our garage to our house. Michael is such an incredibly good listener that he was able to create exactly what we needed and, in addition to that, the steps look truly beautiful. Michael is wonderful in every way and I give him the highest possible recommendation!!
