Whether it is acute or chronic pain in your head, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, legs, knees or other places, you should immediately seek medical attention and treatment. Acupuncture is effective in eliminating pain and muscle-contraction as it promotes local blood circulation, which in turn supplies oxygen and nutrients to affected muscles. It helps lessen inflammation and improve both the circulatory and self-immune systems. Acupuncture is not only effective for muscle strain and sprain, but also for neurological disorders such as sciatica, paralysis related to stroke, facial palsy, insomnia and work pressure.
