All smiles

The staff was so courteous when I went in for my first cleaning, then I went back for a whitening session. They filed all of my insurance for me and everyone made me feel relaxed while I was getting my exam. It's time for my next exam and I will definitely be going back. The dr. is very kind as were the 2 hygenists I have gotten to meet. A very professional atmosphere with great staff to make you feel at home. Now that my teeth are so many shade whiter, I am all smiles!

I have extremely sensitive teeth and dental cleanings are usually very,very painful. Stacey did a wonderfully pain free cleaning!! She worked around my health issues to keep me comfortable. Dr. Portacci was thorough in explaining what my options are with some work I need performed. The whole office is state of the art and also very safe in the midst of COVID. Every single person I came in contact with was awesome. I’m so thankful I found this dental office!

I recently had my first cleaning done with Dr. Portacci and staff. I had just moved to the Mobile area and was in need of a dentist. I saw the reviews online and thought this clinic would be the one to go to and I was not disappointed! The hygienist was extremely thorough and informative during my cleaning, which I really appreciated. She even found glue from braces from years ago that was irritating my gums that I didn’t even know about and my previous dental Hygienist from a different office never even noticed! When Dr. Portacci came in to check things over at the end, he was extremely kind, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and I never felt rushed through my visit. When it came time for check out, I had some bonding work that I was thinking about getting done and the front office was already able to tell me the cost of everything if I wanted to go through with it or not. They didn’t even make me schedule a different appointment to discuss options like a lot of previous offices I’ve been to had. On top of all that, I appreciated how serious they are taking COVID and their check in and check out process made me feel at ease. I would recommend this dental office to anyone in the area! So grateful for the work that they do!

Dr. Portacci and his wife moved to Mobile in 2005 following Hurricane Katrina. Since then, they have fully enjoyed their time in the area and are proud to call it home. Dr. Portacci obtained his undergraduate degree from Tulane University, then attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. After earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orelans, Dr. Portacci completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at the US Naval Hospital in the beautiful city of Beaufort, South Carolina. He served for 3 years as a dentist in the Navy before going into private practice here in Mobile, AL. After a decade in private practice, Dr. Portacci completed his Fellowship in Dental Implantology through LSU while maintaining a full time schedule at his practice in Mobile, and welcoming his 3rd child to the family. He continues to build his skillset by attending continuing education throughout the year.
