Choni's

As any guy knows, finding a quality tailor can be a difficult task. I had a number of suits that I needed alterations on and have not always had the best of luck with tailors and alterations shops. However, after reading the prior Yelp review on Choni's, I decided to give it a try. The owner Naifeh is a wonderful, sweet woman. She took the time to find out exactly what I needed. She was honest about what needed to be done and what didn't. Her prices were very reasonable (I had pants hemmed, waists readjusted, suit sleeves raised). She made sure that all of the alterations fit properly and did a ton of work very quickly. I highly recommend Naifeh at Choni's if you need alterations.

I have been going to Choni's for all my alterations for a while now. She does very good work, and is the sweetest lady ever. I will never go any where else. I highly recommend her to any one looking for a great seamstress at affordable prices.

Since I do none of my own mending or alterations, I have used the services of a seamstress for 25 years. A few years ago I found my all-time favorite seamstress, Naifeh, the owner of Choni's, located on Baseline and the 101 in Mesa. All of my family are now her loyal customers. She is SO GOOD and her prices are very fair. Plus, she's a super nice lady.

BEWARE!!! Do not bring Bridesmaid dresses here! Please make sure you shop around before giving this place your business. She is VERY expensive. I learned the hard way! I had a bridesmaid dress that needed to be let out on the top. When I dropped the dress off she advised me that it would not be that much, and that payment was due upon pickup. When it was ready she called and said it was $75 and to bring cash! I was shocked! It seemed really high but I didn't know better so I paid it. My sister and her friend had the same dress let out at another store and they were only charged $40, plus they replaced the difficult zipper for free!



I felt so ripped off I called Choni's and the owner basically just argued with me and told me she didn't care if she lost my business. There was NO customer service or any want to make things right. She also mentioned during the convestaion that she doesn't know how to do those tyoes of dresses very well. It certainly would have been nice to know that ahead of time. I had already paid $180 for the dress and now it's a $250 dress that will never be worn again. I will NEVER give business to this company again!
