James' Third Base Sports Bar and Grill

My family and I went here to watch a football game. The adults sat at a high top and kids in a booth next to us. James was very rude about this, and told us he would ask us to move to a large table as a group if his restaurant got too busy. My child was eating food and ordered a drink so I'm not sure why he was considered to be any less of a paying patron than anyone else. And the kids were playing their tablets- no noise or rough housing going on. Well behaved. Our food was overall terrible-my house salad was nothing more than chunky iceberg and the French dressing was some type of gelatinous substance. And the pizza, well the crust was nothing more than a tortilla AND it was clearly served to me burnt. That's not pizza. The wings were okay, but nothing special. It took forever to get a beer with our server who wasn't the friendliest. My son loves playing the claw machine, which is inconveniently located in the back bar area. James ran our son out of that area and wouldn't allow him to play the claw machine due to a party in that back bar area. My son was devastated. We will not be returning. There are too many other family friendly options in Mason where we live. It was the worst 90$ I've ever spent. It was clear this is not a family friendly place.
