Tommy's New & Used Auto Parts

My mechanic referred me to Tommy's New and Used Auto Parts for a replacement back glass of my Nissan pick-up truck. I was relieved and happy that they even had the part. I had previously looked at other businesses for the same part but to no avail. So, I had it installed and also tinted, and now I can open and close the window that comes with it. Thank you so so much Tommy!!! I recommend this business to everyone.

I have been a customer of this business for atleast a year or two. Having car work from major services to simple things done to my car. March 2011 came in to have tune up done on car and have a noise checked out that I've keep hearing. I arrived at the office at 9:15 a.m. for tune up, service wasn't completed until afetr 1:00 p.m. Asked mechanic if the source of the rattling that I complained about had been found, and he stated that he did, something was aloose that he tighten. That following Sunday, I heard the same news again. Took my daughter there a week later to purchase her first good use car. She bought it that Friday and by that Sunday it had cut off on her 3 times. That saturday, Mr. Larry had a customer to bring a battery out to her where the car cut off on her in covington since he was going that way. That didn't solve the problem. Brought the car back the following Monday,when my daughter was explaining the situstion to Mr. Larry, he informed her " that's life" no I'm sorry let me make it right, but THAT'S LIFE. To make a long story short, THE CAR WAS A LEMON!!!! She returned to pick up the car 3/27/11 AFTER the car was suppose to be fixed. Now the car is pouring oil. What a horrile experience for a first time car buyer, especially from MY CHURCH MEMBER!!!!!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THERE BUSINESS ETHICS ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Recently went there looking a a used car to buy. The owner Tommy was not very personable but was a good business man and was about to give me a good deal. Was wise enough to take to my mechanic to check out the car and found out that it was leaking oil from one of the heads on the car!! When I went back and told his mechanic Larry about the problem he got very ugly with me and told me that he fixes the cars himself and that there was nothing wrong with the car and if it was then they would not fix it. His exact words were: "I know I can sell this car to someone else as is. We're not gonna put any more money into this car!" So, basically he wanted me to buy the car with all of the problems. He also told me to take it back to my mechanic and let him fix it!! So, no I dont recommend their service to anyone and I would never go back there!! When you come up to their shop, keep going and find another shop!!
