        The Numerical Algorithms Group specializes in the provision of software for the solution of mathematical, statistical and data mining problems. NAG was founded in 1970 as a collaborative venture combining the talents of mathematicians. In 1971, it developed the first mathematical software library, which has evolved to become one of the largest commercially available collections of mathematical and statistical algorithms. Services of the company include statistical, data mining and visualization software, compilers and application development tools and expert consultancy and technology licensing. The Numerical Algorithms Group maintains headquarters in Downers Grove, Ill.
