I was recommended to see Dr. Miao for my shoulder injury. I had heard he was one of the best in the Valley. My MRI showed a labral tear from 1100-500. Dr. Miao explained to me that he wasn't sure if I would need any anchors put in until he could take a look. Dr. Miao performed knee surgery in 2008 on a devastated knee. Within one year, I climbed a major mountain. This February I again had surgery by him, but this time on a very painful shoulder that I injured 15 years ago. Within a week the pain was gone, and now I have full use of this shoulder. He is an amazing surgeon and a warm human being.
