A REALLY GOOD DOCTOR AND STAFF
The Doctor is superb! Very knowledgeable, professional, caring, compassionate, great bedside manner. The front office staff is very nice, always smiling and courteous. I brought my 90 year father to Dr. De La Torre and he was very kind, patient and explained everything-no rush. A very experienced doctor. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any GI problems to anybody. A very gentle and caring man.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR, I WAS HIS PATIENT SEVERAL WEEKS AGO AND I COMMENT TO HIM THAT THERE WAS AN IRREGULARITY WITH THE PERSON WHO ANSWERS THE TELEPHONE IN HIS OFFICE, BUT HE WAS VERY RUDE AND HE SAID THAT DON'T TRUST ME, THAT HE HAS LOTS OF WORK, LOTS OF PATIENTS AND HE CANNOT CONTROLS THE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN HIS OFFICE.
I RECOMMEND YOU LOOK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR.

I have been going to Dr. De La Torre, M.D. for several years and my whole family goes there. I find him to be one of the truly caring doctors in Las Vegas. As for these comments about bad staff .....it is difficult to find good people who want to work and who are going to have positive attitudes. This has nothing to do with the doctor and I know he make changes if that happens to be the case. Not everyone in that office is a family member I believe there is only one family member working there. The rest are hired employees. The quality of Dr. D himself Is by far one of the best doctors I have been to in Las Vegas. He is not aggressive with over treating a patient. He listens and explains. There may be a wait when you go there but that's because he is taking time with each person answering your questions fully. If you are looking for a place that's fast i.e. the Supercuts of medicine then don't go to this place but if you want to see a doctor who cares about his patients and this is the place. He does not over treat a patient. He does not add the insurance codes to make extra money. He is truly an honest man. He listens and explains. There may be a wait when you go there but that's because he is taking time with each person answering your questions fully. If you are looking for a place that's fast i.e. the Supercuts of medicine then don't go to this place.

When my mother was alive he took exceptional care of her was kind caring and she loved him. She was always nervous about going to the doctor but she likes going there.

Terrible office staff that I have every encountered. They are extremely unprofessional and rude and all related to the doctor so they act however they want which is unprofessional and mean. Dr does not have a compassionate bedside manner and constantly interrupts you. The wait time to get and appointment and see the doctor is extremely long. Take your business elsewhere to another gastro specialist. This dr and office has numerous bad reviews and complaints with the medical board

Absolute worst admin staff I have ever experienced. The doctor is not much better. I went in today to pick up my wife's paperwork (because we had to find a better doctor) and they had a radio blasting in the reception area. There was nobody in the room so I turned it down. The reception window slid open and the lady said "can you turn my music back on?" I replied "after we are done talking I will".. very unprofessional... Also wanted me to pay $1.20 per page for her records...
